Educational Qualification

• Must have passed 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
• Must have a valid Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) driver’s license issued by a competent authority.

IB Security Assistant MT 2025 Selection Process Step by Step

The selection for the IB SA (MT) post takes place in two stages:

Tier 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

• Mode: Online (objective type, multiple-choice questions)
• Total Questions: 100
• Marks: 100 (1 mark each)
• Negative Marking: ¼ mark for each incorrect answer.
• Duration: 1 hour

Sections in the Exam:

• General Awareness: 20 marks
• Basic Transport/Driving Rules: 20 marks
• Quantitative Aptitude: 20 marks
• Reasoning/Analytical Ability: 20 marks
• English Language: 20 marks

Tier 2: Skill Test

• Candidates who clear Tier 1 will appear for the skill test.
• Includes: motor mechanism test, driving test and interview.
• Maximum Marks: 50
• Qualifying Marks: 40%
• Purpose: To assess practical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and driving ability.
