Eligibility Criteria for EMRS Staff Selection Exam 2025
Education & Experience (Post-wise):
- PET: B.P.Ed with 50% marks
- Librarian: Bachelor’s in Library Science/Information Science with 50%
- Hostel Warden: Graduate degree
- Female Staff Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing + 2.5 years exp. in 50-bedded hospital
- Accountant: B.Com
- JSA: 12th pass + typing (35 wpm English / 30 wpm Hindi)
- Lab Attendant: 10th pass + Lab diploma OR 12th pass with Science
- Principal: Master’s + B.Ed + 12 years as PGT/Lecturer
- PGT: Master’s in subject + B.Ed (50% marks)
- PGT (Computer Science): M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech (CS/IT) with 50%

Selection Process for EMRS Staff Selection Exam 2025
The exam will be conducted in Offline OMR (Pen-Paper) Mode with 3 stages:
Round 1 – Preliminary Test (Qualifying Only):
- Covers General Awareness, Reasoning, ICT, and Language Competency.
- Negative marking: 1/3 for wrong answers.
Round 2 – Main Subject Test (Merit Based):
- Objective + Descriptive questions.
- Ratio: 1:10 (10 candidates per vacancy).
Round 3 – Interview / Skill Test:
- For Principal: Interview (40 marks), final merit = Tier 2 (80%) + Interview (20%).
- For JSA: Typing Test (Qualifying).
Smart Tips to Crack EMRS Staff Selection Exam 2025
1) Understand the Exam Pattern First
- Round 1 (Prelims): Simply qualifying. Don’t ignore it, but don’t overreact either.
- Round 2 (Main Subject Test): This is the most important test; your selection is dependent on it.
- Round 3 (Interview/Skill Test): Only for specific positions such as Principal and JSA.
2) Create a Study Plan (and plz stick to it).
- Divide your time between General Studies + Reasoning + ICT + Language Skills (for Prelims) and Subject Knowledge (for Mains).
